Welcome

Our Association is composed of Hispanic-Iberic Physicians and Allied Health
professionals united with the mission of assisting each other in the pursuit of
professional and social excellence, as well as promoting the welfare of the Hispanic
Community.

Local organizations, the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) and the
Pharmaceutical Industry have identified the Hispanic American Medical Association of
Louisiana (HAMAL) as the most influential Spanish Medical Association of New Orleans
and south Louisiana.

Under the initiative of the 2005-2007 president, Dr. Soffy D. Botero and the Board
of Directors, HAMAL has launched the website www.hamal-inc.org with the idea of
having an electronic network developing a forum for communications, membership
listing and contact numbers, access to multiples resources, valuable links to
regional, national, and international website of interest to members.

We hope that the website users find the time value of HAMAL as a dynamic and
responsible organization with an important and significant impact in the
professional development of its members.
